Who provides the instruction on the site?

The instruction is provided by Professor Dane McGuckian.  He has over a decade of experience helping students learn mathematics and Statistics.

What is included with the Statistics I course?

The Statistics I course includes all the videos for chapters 1 - 9 (see the Stats Courses page) and four sample exams with video solutions.

What is included with the Statistics II course?

The Statistics II course includes all the videos for chapters 7 - 14 (see the Stats Courses page) and four sample exams with video solutions.

How do I purchase a course?

At the moment, STATSprofessor is transitioning to a new model, so the site is not registering new students for the time being.

What is your refund policy?

Because of the nature of the material, all sales are final.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept MasterCard and Visa.

How do I create a Stats Professor account?

Click the Join link on the right hand side of the home page and fill in the registration form.

How do I know which course (STATS I or II) I should purchase?

At the moment, STATSprofessor is transitioning to a new model, so we are not taking new members.

I forgot my password.  What should I do?

Click on the "Forgot Password" link under the password field, enter your email address and a new password will be sent to you electronically.

Why can't I access my course?

For security, does not allow multiple logins for a single user account.  Make sure you do not have a previous session of still open.

How can I change my password, email address, username, or other account details?

Make sure you are logged in and then click on the “My Account” link to be taken to your profile page. From there, you can change your username, email address, and password.

What are the system requirements to view video?

Why do video clips sometimes stutter or pause?

Video may stutter or pause during playback if you computer does not meet the system specifications, or if your Internet connection is not fast enough. Even on broadband connections, Internet congestion or traffic can result in choppy playback or repeated buffering. It may also help if you close any other applications open other than your browser. If you are using Firefox, changing to Internet Explorer or Safari may help.

The player is displaying a warning that says I need to upgrade the Flash player. How do I upgrade?

We do not sell, transfer, or disclose your personal information to third parties.  It is only collected for the purpose of managing and maintaining your user account.
