This video looks at the sampling distribution of the sample mean for several curves using a sample size of 25. We see that the sample mean generally has a normal distribution (if n is large enough), and that its mean is the same as the mean of the parent population while its standard deviation is smaller than the parent population by a factor of the square root of n.
