Who gets better grades: males or females?  A randomly selected sample of 61 female students had an average college gpa of 3.12 points with a standard deviation of 0.32 points.  A randomly selected sample of 64 male students had an average college gpa of 2.9 points with a standard deviation of 0.34 points.  Find the 95% confidence interval for the true mean difference between female and male college gpas. Is there a significant difference?
