The Professor's Response

Hi Professor,
On ch8-#46: You have a test stat of 1.67, and I'm getting a test stat of 1.4. I'm using the following data: n=100, p^ =0.15, pnot = 0.10, q not=0.85. I've entered the data onto calculator several ways, and still get 1.4 Test-stat.... Let me know what I'm doing wrong please. thanks

Professor McGukian

Hi Gisselle,

The error you are making is in your q0. Your q0 should be equal to 1 - p0 = 1 - 0.10 = 0.90.

That should correct the problem,

Professor McGuckian
