Hi professor, Can you explain number 45 from chapter 4 mixed review. I think I am going wrong in Finding what is in the x column. I originally used the 25,7,5,and 4.

Hi Reina,
Remember, the person must pay $5 for the chance to draw a marble from the bag. The problem does not say they will profit $25, $7, 5$, or $4. It says they will receive these amounts depending on which color they draw. If they receive $25, they only profit $20 because they paid $5 to play.
