The Professor's Response
Hi Professor,
HOw would you solve questions that you have solved with a graphing calculator in problems 36 and 37 sect 5.3 if you do not have a graphing calculator? Thank you

Hi Natassia,
Every problem in section 5.3 can be solved using the same methods that are used in the section. You do not need a graphing calculator to solve those questions. I used a graphing calculator simply to illustrate its use.
If you need a video to solve this problem after watching all of the lecture examples from 5.3 and the other homework videos from 5.3, you should come in for one-on-one help. It means you have not generalized what you saw in the other examples, so you need more guidance.
